Acero inoxidable 18/10 mate

Grip engineering distilled into a tong: 35 cm of matte 18/10 steel with calibrated spring tension that closes precisely without tiring your hand. The curved neck keeps your wrist natural over the grill.

Rösle doesn't make cheap tongs and it shows: the matte 18/10 steel resists corrosion better than mid-range stainless, and the spring tension is calibrated to close firmly without you having to squeeze. They're shorter than a dedicated kamado tong, so they shine on open grills and in the kitchen; on a deep kamado you'll feel the 35 cm.

Editor's verdict

Premium kitchen and open-grill tong. The matte 18/10 steel and calibrated spring show; only the 35 cm limit a deep kamado.

8.4/10

Pros

  • Matte 18/10 stainless steel — superior corrosion resistance
  • Balanced spring tension: firm close without effort
  • Curved neck that respects a natural wrist posture
  • Elegant matte finish, hangs in kitchen or by the grill
  • Dishwasher safe

Cons

  • 35 cm: short for the back of a deep kamado
  • Premium price versus equivalent generic tongs

Who it's for

For those who value German finish and durability and cook mostly on open grills, plancha or stove, where 35 cm is plenty.

Not for

If you cook low-and-slow at the back of a Classic or Big kamado, a 46-50 cm tong will keep you further from the heat.

FAQ

  • What is the point of the tongs being curved?

The curve follows the natural angle of your wrist when working over a low grill, so you do not crank your arm to reach the back and you see what you grab. Rösle builds them in solid 18/10 stainless, stiffer than cheap tongs that splay open lifting a leg of lamb. Versus the 46 cm Weber Precision, these are a touch shorter and handier.

  • Are they dishwasher safe?

Yes — being 18/10 stainless with no plastic or wood parts they go straight in the dishwasher. That same one-piece build is what makes them last: no joint or handle to loosen with heat. Hand-drying the tips avoids limescale marks from hard water.

  • Can they handle turning a heavy roast?

Yes: Rösle solid steel does not flex like thin-sheet tongs, so you can flip a whole tenderloin or a chicken without the tips splaying. For very large or slippery cuts pair them with heat-resistant gloves like the Rapicca — the tongs give precision, the gloves give brute force.
