The basket that drops between the firebox and the kamado base and catches the ash directly — empty in 10 seconds without removing the charcoal. Fits BGE Large and KJ Classic II/III.
430 stainless steel, 31cm diameter, 6cm tall — low profile so it doesn't restrict the airflow under the grate. Replaces the KJ Classic's aluminium ash pan that warps after 6 months, and dramatically improves cleaning on a BGE Large (which ships without an ash pan). Also fits BGG XL and Patton Kamado L. Handles >1000°C without oxidising.
Five-minute install and you never sweep ash by hand again.

FAQ
Which kamados is this basket compatible with?
It is sized for the Big Green Egg Large and the Kamado Joe Classic II and III. It sits between the firebox and the kamado base, in the gap where ash falls, so the fit depends on the inner diameter of those models. It is not intended for MiniMax sizes or the Big Joe.
How does it actually speed up ash cleanup?
It catches the ash falling from the firebox straight into the basket, so instead of vacuuming or scooping the bottom of the kamado you simply lift the basket out and empty it. The job drops to about ten seconds, and you never have to remove the charcoal or deflector just to clear the draft.
Does stainless steel withstand the kamado's high temperatures?
Yes. Being made of stainless steel, it resists both high-temperature searing cycles and long low-and-slow cooks without warping or rusting from damp ash. That is the difference from painted-steel trays that flake: this one holds its shape season after season.
