The kamado's headline piece: a ring that slots between base and lid and mounts an electric-motor rotisserie. Chicken, suckling pig or lamb turn over the coals, self-basting in their own juices — an even golden crust impossible by hand.
Few pieces transform a kamado like the JoeTisserie. The steel ring slots between base and lid, raises the dome and creates room for the rotating spit; the electric motor turns the meat at constant speed over the coals. The result is what spit-roasting has promised for centuries: whole chicken, suckling pig, gyros or lamb with an even, crisp crust and a self-basting juicy interior. It fits the Classic I/II/III and is, without question, the accessory that most elevates a kamado's repertoire.
The accessory that transforms a kamado most: it turns the Classic into a true rotating spit. Pricey, but self-basting spit-roast crust is unrivalled.

FAQ
Which kamados does the JoeTisserie Classic fit?
This Classic version is designed for the 18" Kamado Joe Classic (I, II and III) and also fits other kamados with a similar mouth such as the Big Green Egg Large. It is a ring that sits between the base and the lid to hold the motorised spit. There is a specific larger version for the 24" Big Joe.
Is the motor electric and what can I roast?
Yes, it has an electric motor that turns the spit continuously, ideal for whole chickens, leg of lamb, porchetta or homemade döner. The constant rotation self-bastes the joint with its juices and gives an even browning impossible on a fixed grate. You need a power outlet near the kamado.
Do I need a thermometer to control the rotisserie roast?
Highly recommended: with the joint spinning you cannot use a fixed lid thermometer, so a wireless probe like the MEATER or a multi-probe like the Inkbird IBBQ-4T lets you watch the internal temperature without opening the lid. For a chicken or lamb cooked just right, knowing the core temperature is what makes the difference. Without control you risk over- or under-cooking.
