Fackelmann

Fackelmann is a German family-owned kitchenware company that, in its own brand material, describes itself as a third-generation business with roots in 1919 and more than 2,600 employees worldwide. Its natural ground is high-volume cooking and baking tools: tins, whisks, boards, spatulas. The barbecue line is an extension of that catalogue rather than a live-fire specialist's range.

For a kamado that cuts both ways. In its favour: sensible materials at housewares prices, with long wooden handles and working ends in steel or brass that stand up to outdoor use. Against it: none of its tools is designed or documented for ceramic at 350-400 °C, so each piece has to be judged on what it physically is — the metal, the handle length — rather than on what the listing promises. Manufacturing happens outside Germany; on the barbecue brush, the declared country of origin is China.
