Quick answer
Yes, the Inkbird IBT-4XS is the Bluetooth thermometer we'd recommend to almost anyone: the best-seller for grills and kamados in Spain, with four probes, dual mode (grill and food), a real 100 m outdoor range and a polished app. It's indispensable for low & slow if you want to stop lifting the lid every twenty minutes. Built for anyone doing long smokes or briskets. If you need WiFi to monitor from outside the house, this one falls short: step up to the IBT-26S or the MEATER+ there.
The best-selling Bluetooth thermometer for grills and kamados in Spain. Four probes, dual mode (grill + food), 100m real outdoor range and a polished app. A no-brainer for low & slow cooks.
The IBT-4XS is the de-facto standard wireless thermometer in the European kamado community. Four probes let you watch the chamber plus three pieces of meat at once. The app shows a real-time curve, sets target-temperature alarms and saves cook history. Battery lasts ~40h per charge.
The Bluetooth thermometer we would recommend to anyone under €100.

FAQ
What is the real outdoor Bluetooth range?
About 80-100 m line-of-sight. A concrete wall drops it to 20-30 m. Enough to watch from the sofa, not to walk to the supermarket. If you need full remote monitoring (away from home), the IBT-26S has WiFi and connects to your router. The 4XS is Bluetooth only.
How long does the battery last on a 12-hour smoke?
Plenty. Total battery is around 40 hours per charge, so a 12h smoke uses some but does not drain it. It charges over USB-C in 2-3 hours. The sensible routine is plugging it the night before a long cook, no thinking.
Are the probes replaceable if one breaks?
Yes. Inkbird sells loose probes on Amazon at €10-15 a piece. The thread is the same across the IBT series. The ones that fail most are the bent ones (chamber clip probe). Keeping a spare in the drawer is not paranoia.
Does the app save a cook history?
Yes, every session is logged with a temperature curve per probe. You can export to CSV and compare today's cook to last month's. The feature is basic but useful: if you are dialling in your brisket, seeing the past curve speeds up the learning.
