It is sized for 18-22" kamados on a cart: BGE Large, Kamado Joe Classic, Pit Boss K22, Louisiana K22 and similar. Being universal it sits a touch looser than each brand’s official cover, but covers body and cart at a far lower cost. For a 24" Big Joe it falls short.
What do I lose versus the official Kamado Joe cover?
Fit and tension. The official one is patterned to the millimetre and does not bag; this universal closes with a drawstring and leaves some slack. Under cover the difference is irrelevant; outdoors in strong wind the official holds better and flaps less. It is the rational choice if you store the kamado sheltered.
Is the fabric genuinely waterproof?
